Jenesis Kimera, also known as Orijinal Jenesis, is a trailblazing Ugandan dancehall artist, producer, and songwriter whose music merges raw authenticity with global appeal. A true student of the genre, his craft is shaped by the influence of dancehall greats such as SuperCat, Chronixx, Bob Marley, Popcaan, and Vybz Kartel, while still grounded in his distinct East African identity.

Jenesis has earned a reputation for unmatched consistency, dropping well-crafted music that resonates with fans across borders.

In 2025, he embarked on an ambitious journey: to release over 25 songs in a single year as a showcase of his versatility. He kicked off the year with the fan-favourite Unscripted EP, offering raw, unfiltered emotion and artistic freedom. To close out the year, Jenesis presented Up All Night, released on December 13, a project that captures his creative peak, filled with energy, passion, and late-night inspiration. The lead single, “I Need You,” released on November 6, sets the tone for what fans can expect from the EP.
